Many things obviously......but some of those that are more specific than those listed (because, specific is always better  ) are:
1) A desire to be liked.
2) A desire for power (which usually takes the shape of money, most people are dominated at least somewhat for a desire for money).
3) A desire to be the best (but not necessarily because it means they have bettered themselves, but because it means they are better than the man next to themselves).
4) Freedom of choice.
5) To be respected: which means to never look like a wimp, fool, failure, or as someone who has the un-attractive attributes of whatever society they are in.
5) A desire for sex. |
